At the same time as I was developing tools for Spat Revolution, I began creating more specialized tools tailored for live performance.
I had the opportunity to travel to Indonesia to enrich my project 42 with field recordings captured in island environments and during traditional ceremonies, primarily involving gamelan ensembles.
For these recordings, I used a Voyage Audio USB microphone, which offers the advantage of a simple and highly portable setup, operating directly with an iPad or iPhone. This microphone is a 2nd order Ambisonic microphone.

My main DAW is Ableton Live. However, as it does not natively support multichannel workflows, I use Max for Live to develop custom ambisonic players.
I started with a simple player and later created a more advanced dual-deck version, designed to mix and crossfade between two ambisonic sources in real time.

Recently, I developed my first multichannel audio effect as part of an ongoing series of multichannel tools: a limiter and maximizer based on the ABL object introduce in Max 9.0, designed to replicate the native limiter from the Ableton Live.
This device can manage up to 20 channels and was specifically designed for a 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos configuration.
