Charles-Zoltan de Leissègues is a musician, digital artist, and sound engineer who explores sound creation through electronic music, audio spatialization, and digital arts.
Trained in classical piano at the Orléans Conservatory, he discovered early on the creative possibilities offered by computers. Growing up during a time of technological and musical innovation, he absorbed the emerging musical trends.
He has been involved in various projects as a musician, composer, and technician, and it is through his musical entity Ctrl-Z that he fully dedicates himself to electronic music and digital visual arts. His work has led him to collaborate on artistic residencies and innovative projects related to audio and digital technologies.
With his project ‘42‘, he explores new musical horizons and innovative compositional methods, blending immersive sound and laser projections. It was within this context that he met the team at Flux::Audio, the developers of Spat Revolution, a software used for spatialization during his performances. He then took part in designing a control interface for Spat Revolution, as well as developing tools for artists and sound engineers.
In 2024, continuing the work from project ’42’, Ctrl-Z returns to his control tower for a new performative project combining progressive techno, spatialized sound, and laser scenography : ‘Arcana Temple‘
His career reflects a balance between creation, technical expertise, and transmission, always oriented toward innovation and artistic experimentation.
