The planet’s resources are dwindling more and more each year, while the human population continues to grow. The climate emergency is upon us — it’s time for everyone to take responsibility and become the hero who saves all living beings.

Are you ready to coexist with the world around you, or will you contribute to humanity’s self-destruction? Will you make the right choice?

Ctrl-Z presents a music video with two alternate endings, placing humanity and its behavior at the center of today’s global concerns. Here, the viewer determines their own fate — and that of humanity.

The artist draws inspiration from Choose Your Own Adventure books, in which the protagonist wanders through labyrinths and must regularly choose their path by passing through different doors.

The title was born from the observation that humans are increasingly colonizing space at the expense of other living species, on a planet where Earth Overshoot Day arrives earlier each year.

The artist concludes that humanity must learn to live in symbiosis with nature and suggests a transformation in our way of life.

Each person must take responsibility for their actions — or face the consequences.

We have to choose our destiny.
